Gorichane & Prolez Windfarm is a 80 MW undergoing development wind project near Shabla, Bulgaria.
Gorichane & Prolez is a wind farm undergoing development, and was originally developed by VGE between 2009-2011 as two separate neighboring 40MW wind farms, Prolez and Gorichane.
The project area is in the municipality of Shabla, 10km west of Shabla town, in the north-east of Bulgaria. It is 85 km north-east of Varna.
Construction permits are secured for 2nd generation turbines. Wind farm capacity is targeted to be 80MW using up to 15 turbines. The project size is restricted by the approved grid capacity.
The wind farm construction is expected to start by July 2025.
